About the Property

Allen Creek Ranch is a secluded 347-acre ranch located in Kendall County, approximately 25 miles northwest of San Antonio, Texas. The ranch land is the headwaters of Allen Creek and natural springs occur in several locations throughout the ranch, providing a constant water source for native species and habitat. Several valleys provide segmented hunting areas.

Recent improvements to the land include:

(1) A 3.5 acre lake and refurbishment of other water catchment basins

(2) New roads which loop through the main body of the ranch, providing excellent access to designated bow hunting areas

(3) Refurbishment of the hunter's cabin

(4) New hunter's stands and deer feeders

The land is professionally managed to bolster the natural habitat and health of its wildlife; 20-30% of the land has been left in its natural state to provide for wildlife cover, while 50% of the land has been cleared of cedar and reseeded with native grasses and forbs.

Kendall County is a 5-deer hunting county.

Families are welcome to exclusively book the cabin at various times. Please check the calendar page for more information.
